Beautiful textured flower vase height 9.5cm. Handmade using traditional artisan techniques, this miniature piece is based on the design of our Flower Collection mixed bouquet vase. A fine optic placed in the glassblower’s mould creates its ribbed surface. The finish of the vase adds texture to a small bouquet or few simple stems. Engraving will be to one side of the vase and allows for  approximately 5-7 words.

Materials & making
The Horizon decanter is mouth blown by master glassblowers into metal moulds to create the architectural silhouette. The stopper is ground for a perfect fit. The rim of the decanter is cut and polished to achieve a flat, smooth edge. The open circular cut is achieved by hand using a diamond wheel, requiring great expertise to produce the straight, flat polished cut.
Care
Handwash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.

Horizon Collection

Inspired by the distant horizon line, these mouth-blown drinkware designs are encircled with a single linear cut. The angular shapes, solid stems and disc-shaped feet emphasise the graphic nature of the hand-cut decoration.

Materials & making
Mouth blown by master glassblowers into wooden moulds to create a spherical shape which is then squashed by hand using wooden tools. The rim is melted by a flame to create a soft rounded finish. The base shaped from American walnut and treated with food safe oils to bring out the grain and depth of colour. The wood is sourced from sustainably-managed forests.
Care
Hand-wash the glass in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Wipe the natural wood with a damp cloth and leave to dry naturally.
