About our wedding gifts

Personalised wedding gifts engraved with the couple's names and wedding date: pewter and glass quaichs, champagne flutes, whisky tumblers, vases and decanters, engraved in our Clydebank workshop since 1975.

The quaich is Scotland's wedding gift: the couple share their first drink from it, then keep it at home (what is a quaich?). For the top table, a pair of flutes engraved Mr & Mrs; for their home, an engraved vase or decanter. Thanking the wedding party? See our groomsmen and best man gifts, and engraved flutes and small quaichs for bridesmaids and mums.

Wedding gifts: your questions

What should we engrave on a wedding gift?

The couple's names and the wedding date, for example Sophie & Craig / 19th June 2027, or Mr & Mrs Campbell / 27.07.27. On a quaich the words go inside the bowl; on flutes and vases, on the side.

What is the quaich ceremony?

A quaich is Scotland's two-handled cup of friendship. At many Scottish weddings the couple share their first drink from it, then keep it at home. Our guide to the quaich.

Can you post it straight to the couple?

Yes. Tick Post direct to the gift recipient on the product page (or say so in the note for the engraver) and give their address at checkout. We'll leave out the receipt and leaflets.

How far before the wedding should we order?

Engraved orders placed by 10am on a working day are usually posted the same day, with 2 more working days if you add a logo or monogram. Allow a week or two before the wedding for delivery and peace of mind.

Can you add a monogram or wedding crest?

Yes. Add your design to the order (£20 per order) and we'll email a free proof before we engrave.

Do you deliver?

Yes, across the UK, with free standard delivery on orders over £149. Or collect from our shop at 80 Dumbarton Rd, Clydebank.
